Florence and Petrus Wedding 20.09.2009

I was asked by Florence, the bride (who is also my cousin) to become the backup for her official photographer. I eagerly accepted as this was my first time to actually shoot a wedding, even though it's only as a backup. It was so touching to see her cry tears of joy while she recited her vows during the wedding ceremony. Not only her, but the groom cried when he recited his vows as well.....I have never seen two people so much in love....Congratulations once again to you both.!

Witness Wide

My singing group, Witness Wide, was invited to sing at the SDA English Church a few weeks ago. Witness wide was formed by my dad a few years ago and we have grown, not only in members, but also in our singing. I am proud to be a member of this group. Here are photos of some of the group members.....

A good friend of mine forwarded this to me today....I thought it would be good to share it with all of you......

SECRETS OF A GOOD LIFE....

Health:

1. Drink plenty of water.
2. Eat breakfast like a king, lunch like a prince and dinner like a beggar.
3. Eat more foods that grow on trees and plants and eat less food that is manufactured in plants.
4. Live with the 3 E's -- Energy, Enthusiasm, and Empathy.
5. Depending on your religion, make time to read your Holy Books..
6. Play more games.
7. Read more books than you did in 2008.
8. Sit in silence for at least 10 minutes each day.
9. Sleep for 7 hours.
10. Take a 10-30 minutes walk every day. And while you walk, smile.

Personality:
11. Don't compare your life to others'.. You have no idea what their journey is all about.
12. Don't have negative thoughts or things you cannot control. Instead invest your energy in the positive present moment.
13. Don't over do. Keep your limits.
14. Don't take yourself so seriously. No one else does.
15. Don't waste your precious energy on gossip.
16. Dream more while you are awake.
17. Envy is a waste of time. You already have all you need.
18. Forget issues of the past. Don't remind your partner with his/her mistakes of the past. That will ruin your present happiness.
19. Life is too short to waste time hating anyone.. Don't hate others.
20. Make peace with your past so it won't spoil the present.
21. No one is in charge of your happiness except you.
22. Realize that life is a school and you are here to learn. Problems are simply part of the curriculum that appear and fade away like algebra class but the lessons you learn will last a lifetime.

Society:
25. Call your family often.
26. Each day give something good to others.
27. Forgive everyone for everything.
28. Spend time with people over the age of 70 & under the age of 6.
29. Try to make at least three people smile each day.

Life:

Flower Girl Debute

My daughter Kimberly became a flower girl for the wedding of my cousin's cousin yesterday. The actual flower girl appointed couldn't attend last minute...so my cousin had to find a replacement which she then decided upon Kimberly....I wasn't so sure that Kimberly would be able to walk the aisle because she's so shy...but she did..with me by her side..(better than not walking at all right? :) )She wasn't able to smile at all...i think she was very nervous. Only after everything was over, was she back to her happy self.

Sunrise at the Bridge

Last Sunday, Wendell, Beevy, Lola and I, went to to take some photos at this bridge. We were there at about 4.30 am coz we wanted to take some shots of Mount Kinabalu. We waited like for eternity for the sun to come out....and then it started raining. Luck was really not on our side that morning. Anyways, it was fun and I did get some shots...I'm definitely going back there for those photos of Mount Kinabalu...next time, i'll check the weather forecast first. :P
