Concert Weekend

My singing group, Witness Wide was invited to sing at 2 concerts last weekend. Friday night at KK English Church and Saturday afternoon at SASS Tamparuli for the Alumni Homecoming.

Kenny and Pammie's Thanksgiving Lunch

Last Monday, my father threw a thanksgiving lunch for my sis and brother. Close family members and friends attended the joyous occasion. My brother just graduated from Kursk Medical University and my sis finished her masters and graduated just last week. Congratulations to both of you lil' bro and sis!

Elsa turns 2!

Elsa's birthday was actually on 6th August which was last week, but because my sis and bro is not around right now and will only be back this week, I've decided to postpone Elsa's birthday party until they come back. But last sabbath we had a little celebration for Elsa and Moses (one of the kids in our cradle roll class) after sabbath school. My Mom made a home-made cake for Elsa and Moses's mom made a home-made cake as well...so we had 2 cakes that day...which were super yummy!

These are the same flowers but fully bloomed.

This week has been really busy with visits and meetings with officials from HQ. I can't wait for this week to end! I hope next week will be less hectic...(but why is it that I doubt that will happen? hmmm...). Anyways, below are some pics that I took of my mother-in-law's orchids which she grew in her backyard. Upgrade to 40D!

Yes, i've upgraded my Canon 400D to 40D last week and i'm so happy with it! I'm not saying that my previous camera was not good....it was and is indeed a good camera. But the 40D is fast when compared to the 400D..and I love the live view, very useful when taking shots at peculiar angles. I took some photos with my new cammy but I haven't had time to do any editing on them yet. I'll just leave you with these unedited photos of my daughter Elsa.

This poem was written by a father (the author) who relishes his time with his child knowing that he'll be grown up and gone only too quickly.

When I first read this poem, it really touched me. Having two little girls of my own, I am also aware that they will be all grown up and spreading their wings in no time. Kimberly just turned 3 last month and Elsa is coming to 2 next month. How time flies..... It just comes to show how precious our time with our little ones are. Mummy loves you Kim and Elsa! You will always be my little angels!
